Advisory Flags & Notes
Entity Separation — For-Profit & Nonprofit
The training business and the nonprofit currently operate under the same brand with no documented structural separation. Revenue classification, board composition, and funder perception all depend on getting this boundary clearly defined.
Addressed during Kickoff
Bylaws Must Be Recreated
No bylaws exist as original documents have been lost. A full bylaw creation is required, not a revision. This is the foundational governance document and must be adopted formally by the board before any governance work can proceed.
Critical — Address in Phase 1
No Formal Board in Place
The organization has been founder-operated with no formal board structure. Board recruitment, role assignment, and governance training must be completed before the organization can credibly pursue partnerships or funding.
Critical — Address in Phase 2
The 125 Club — Entity Alignment Needed
The 125 Club donation initiative is live on the website and actively accepting contributions. It must be confirmed to operate under the nonprofit EIN with proper IRS-compliant donor acknowledgment in place before it scales further.
Addressed during kickoff
Two Active Domains
baseline2baseline.com (for-profit training) and trainyourmindtrainyourgameb2b.org (.org domain, less active) create brand and identity confusion. The .org domain should be the nonprofit's home or a clear strategy for domain use must be established.
Addressed during kickoff
Years of Community Impact — Undocumented
Christopher Anderson has been funding and operating this program out of pocket for years. The work is real and the community impact exists, it simply hasn't been captured in a framework yet. Phase 3 translates this history into metrics and narratives funders can act on.
